Zaheer Abbas: The Asian Bradman

Zaheer Abbas rather “Syed Zaheer Abbas Kirmani” is a former Pakistani legend cricketer (right-handed batsman) known for his fine batting was born on 24th of July, 1947 in Sialkot. He is one of those cricketers who wear spectacles.

Zaheer Abbas has a unique record that no one can ever snatch from him as he is the first ever batsman in one day international who scored centuries in three consecutive matches.

Zaheer Abbas is one of the great test batsmen, he scored 274 against England in his second test match. He made 4 double centuries in test matches which is also a great achievement.

Abbas made 108 centuries in his first class career, he was known as “Score Machine”. He was also known as Asian Bradman.

Zaheer Abbas was a great batsman of his age and used to play Orthodox cricket and may be a great example for new players but he was not a man of crises.
